I've always wondered what was in Limon. I'm not sure why but something like that museum makes me sad. I think if I were rich, I'd work to preserve things like that.

Limon actually has some businesses and jobs (prison there), but man, you go to Deer Trail, Genoa, or Arriba, very depressing, economically and literally. I expect those with substantial money to pick up a lot of rare and interesting stuff from the 1800s at the auction, whenever that happens. I think I'm going back out in a week or two to get some old wagon wheels - either steel or wood - and some old oil jugs. Lots of arrowheads, tons of bottles and glasses, old paintings, and other treasures there.

I want to check out Kit Carson, La Junta, and Bent's Fort at some point now too.

I'm always up for road trips; let me know if you want company. American history (especially the West) has always been my big interest.
